As an African American therapist, I’m deeply committed to bridging the gap in mental health services by providing culturally competent care to those who often lack representation. I believe it’s crucial for individuals of all ethnic backgrounds to see themselves reflected in their providers. My goal is to create a space where every client feels seen, heard, and understood, no matter where they come from.

My journey to becoming a therapist began after transitioning from nursing and working in a social service agency, where I discovered a passion for helping people navigate their challenges. The tools of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) resonated with me, as I saw firsthand how empowering these approaches could be for individuals reclaiming control over their lives.

I am here to walk alongside you on your journey to meet your personal goals. One of my greatest strengths is empathy, and I take pride in meeting clients exactly where they are, without judgment. Whether you’re facing struggles or just seeking support, this is a safe, welcoming space where we can explore solutions together.
